Several questions when system involved is upgraded/maintained

Hello all,

As per subject..

When the ECC source system is going to be upgraded/maintenance

1. Steps before going to downtime

            Do we do just do LTRC, then 'stop configuration'?

     2. After the upgrade, how do I check which replicated table were modified/adjusted by the upgrade      

• Just LTRC --> Start configuration?
• Then do we follow this  blog? 'How to adjust a target table during replication?
• What if ‘logging’ of the table within the RS system is used? Do we need to adjust it it to and how?

When the RS system is going to be upgraded/maintenance 

1. Steps before going to downtime

•      Do we do LTRC, then 'stop configuration'?
•      ‘Stop configuration'  will just suspend the transfer of data from the source to the target, but the logging tables in the source system will keep filling?
•       Anything      to watch out,  risk?

      2. After the upgrade/maintenance

•       What is the best of way ‘resuming’ the replication, without flooding/impacting the source system? Any controlled fashion to follow?
