We are replicating tables from SAP ECC to HANA using SLT. There is a requirement to add a new column to a table Tab1 by looking up in to another table Tab2. Both Tab1 and Tab2 are getting replicated.
Is there a better way to do it without writing a remote function module in SLT that reads the Tab2 from ECC for the look up? Can we store the Tab2 data in SLT, so instead of a remote functional call to ECC, I can do a local look up?

I have a requirement to migrate data from MSSQL to HANA using SLT. I have created all confg. but now SLT confg. in LTR t-code is showing me red sign.
When i'm trying to replicate table from MSSQL it is showing scheduled status and remains as it is and Local Table Rec is also not getting.

I have a scenario of replicating DB views from ECC to HANA using SLT. I have followed all the process defined by sap in replication. I have added view in table settings with structure template and provided the view name in initial and replication options. I am able to successfully load the view and view data in HANA. My problem here is my DEV system got updated with QAS data yesterday. I have deactivated my configuration before this activity and I have started it today for replication. All tables are successfully replicated apart from these DB views. These are showing previously loaded data. Base table is under replication mode and no error occurred. When I stop the replication and started again it loaded successfully.It should automatically replicate the data instead of this process. Am I correct. If so could you please help me on why this is happening and how it can be resolved.

we have recently installed SLT, gone through the post-Installation activities, activated the BAdI and created a configuration using ODP as the target (Field "Scenario for RFC Connection"), since we want to connect to Data Services and not HANA.
The configuration Connections are green and look good. However, in the LT replication Cockpit (LTRC), on tab "Table overview " we cannot see the button "Data provisioning", and therefore cannot start replicating the DD* meta data tables.
Has anybody an idea what we may have overlooked? Anyone seen something similar?

I'm handling a new configuration that involves.
ABAP - SLT - SQL server
At this time I have created the proper entry in LTR and LTRC transaction, on my Development system. (even though the lack of documentation about this scenario)
we run on DMIS 2011 SP11, so this scenario is perfectly covered.
I was wondering which is the procedure to implement Start loads or replication in Quality system or Production due to SLT configuration seems to create Logging tables and transformation rules in the SLT side, that cannot be recreated on a closed system.
As far I know there is no needed, but I guess this situation affects users on HANA or any destination.
also, I'm looking for information about what objects are created and where (Source or SLT system?) on each replication.
Transparent tables , Logging table, runtime objects, function group, and more
I really appreciate your help or documentation about this.

We are trying to replicate the data from source system (ECC on Oracle DB) to Central finance system (1511 FPS02) using SLT (SP10).
All the conversion objects are generated successfully, but any data changes in the source system are not getting captured in the logging tables.

Trying to load the data from ECC to SQL using SLT, Issue is that the data is not writing to the Target table in SQL, Says aborted due to SYSTEM FAILURE, Table is unknown or does not exist.

Hi Experts,
We're in the process of setting up the SLT with ECC as source system and MSSQL as target. In the configuration of SLT, we could only select 'HANA' as the Database system in the 3rd step of specifying the target system though we can see the other Database in the dropdown but this dropdown is disable so we can't change from HANA to MSSQL.
Is there anything we need to do in order to enable this dropdown so we could select the other Database ?

We have a real time connection setup between ECC to HANA. Noticied trigerrs for all tables are missing after SLT support pack upgrade , we would like to understand the root cause of missing triggers .
Is it due to not suspending loads during support pack upgrade?
How to recover from this scenario?. we have more than 30 tables in that connection and the status of the trigger cloumn shows " Inconsistent trigger". I also tried below option but its not working. Any input is greatly appreciated.
1. Deleted data from the HANA ZTABLE, deleted entries of Ztable in RS_STATUS, also executed " Reset all objects and settings for a table in SLT"
2. Restarted Data load however SLT calculates no.of records to be calculated but does not load data into HANA. Status remains in Initial load, aslo does not show up under " INprocess"
Dear Experts - I have a quick question. As i understood, it is possible to replicate BSEG cluster data from a source ERP which is in 4.6c version using SLT. Is there any specific Support pack version on 4.6c that is applicable? Based on our scenario, SLT replication of BSEG is working in one version of 4.6c and not working in other 4.6c version. Just want to see if you have faced this situation before.

We had set up SLT server to replicate data from ECC to HANA. We are going for ECC upgrade. While doing ECC upgrade in dev enviroment we are getting errors that about the triggers existing on the system. As per the SAP note 1620618 it looks we need to delete the triggers that were set up on ECC. Any idea how to handle the scenario. Does Reset Trigger works in this scenario. We don't want to load or replicate tables again. Can you please provide the details steps that needed to recover after deleting triggers on ECC. Appreciate your help.

i just observed there are lot of ( Nearly 40 jobs ) /1LT/MWB_LOAD_ACP_<MTID>_00001 jobs running in SLT system . Which are generated from the option MWBMON --> Load Data --> Execute function .
What these jobs do in the system and is there any impact with these jobs in the system ?

Hello All ,
There are 4 schema's configured similarly in the SLT server . For 3 schema's there are 3 continues long running active /1LT/IUC_LOAD_MT_00*_00* jobs for each schema , but for the 4th schema there are no long active jobs running and even if they run they complete with in seconds .
Due to this there is 30 min to 1 hour delay in replication for the 4th schema . I have compared the configuration of all 4 schema's and found similar and even I have added parallel process to the tables in performance tab in MWBMON still there is delay . We are having enough BTC process to accommodate the jobs . Need your suggestions to resolve this issue .

We defined a rule for assigning filter, in order to perform the load of the initial table as initial charge finished we define obsolete code rule for this assignment.
But the table replication still considering this filter assignment.

While replicating, we are facing heaps of issue. Initially there was error of BLOCK_SIZE_TOO_SMAL : OVERFLOW IN ONE TRANSACTION, referred sap note “2253900 - SLT Access plan calculation failed-Blocksize too small - replication fails with error” and changed reading types still failing with error “Execution of program /1CADMC/OLC_100000000001571 failed, return code 3
“ and dump in ST22 “SAPSQL_UNSUPPORTED_FEATURE”.

Also when we try to define Advanced replication setting, we do not see more option for mentioned table as available for other tables for replication for other systems i.e. ECC to BW on HANA.

We are planning to upgrade SLT system (DMIS - 2011_1_731- 0008) database to Oracle 12c (12.1.0.2.5) from 11.2.0.4.0. I do not see any information about database upgrade for SLT systems. Please let me know if anyone has done it so far.
Any known issues in SLT after Oracle 12c upgrade? Those have to be considered while planning upgrade?

I would like to know how to load packages to the transaction CNV_INDX_KNOWLEDGE.
When I executed the transaction in ECC, the transaction showed empty but when I executed the same transaction in SLT, it returms entries as below.
In ECC
In SLT
Also, when I executed the same transaction in ECC client 000, I see the entries.
In the note 1963338 that explains about missing INDX structure rule for PCL2, you can find the following sentence.
This step has to take place after package load.
Also, you can find the status for each component from the below as 'Delivered by package', I believe those entries will be delivered by a package or packages but I could not find any document or information on how to deliever the package to the transaction CNV_INDX_KNOWLEGE.
Any idea?
