Hello Folks,
WE have slt replication configured with ECC and HANA for data replication from ECC.
Though we have configured the background user i system for replication but still i see that the master job of the replication always runs with the dialog user which is used to start the SLT replication.
as the job will never be in the released mode i am not able to change the user in the jobs.
has anyone observed and fixed this issues, please share the solution with me as well.

We have an SLT replication configured from an ECC 6 system to a HANA system. Having built HANA models which are consumed in BW Virtual Providers, and reached UAT in a new production system we discovered the setting 'read from single client' had been missed in production only (it's set in dev and test). As it's only affecting master data tables, we have applied a temporary 'band-aid' by adding a client filter to the attribute views in the models.
My question is how could we now apply the change to a single client? Would it required recreating the connection? We have tried stopping the replication, but the setting remains greyed out. I would prefer not to apply a filter in the replication, but realise I can if I have to.

I am new to SAP HANA and we are using SLT To load data from non-sap system(Oracle)
to load data to hana system, when configuring SLT using LTR we are getting a error in Statistics tab
I have attached the screen shot, and the tables(DD02L,DD02t & DDo8L) are not getting populated in Data Provisioning in
sap hana studio
I think the issue is with privileges for the schema i created, i am using system user but still not able to access the same

I'm trying to replicate a table from one of the Scale out HANA database to Single node HANA database. When I start the replication for a table it complains on no columns found for table. please find the attached error. Can someone please help.
Hi SLT expert, we want to use the "Disable Delete Trigger" (seems to be new) option for some of our tables due to mass deletion of records coming in a near future project. Those tables are already replicating and because the high volume of data, we want to enable this option without re-starting the replication for those tables.This option looks like new in LTRS but I want to know, if the replication is already active, how can we set it to prevent deleted record to be replicated. We are currently using ODQ replication scenario.
What are the steps required to disable the delete trigger when the replication is already enable on the table?

i went to ecc to check the status in tcode IUUC_Remote, there are no triggers for table MARA
I think the system is not able to create automatically triggers for MARA table.
I searched a lot but of no use, our source(ECC) Database is HDB

I tried loading data from SAP to SAP for the finance object CFIN_ACCHD. But the load was not successful.
I have few questions:
1. Is it necessary to have data available in the table CFIN_ACCHD and CFIN_ACCITin the source system for the load to be successful?
2. If yes, how do I get the data from BKPF to CFIN_ACCHD table in the source?
Also, I need data from a specific company code to be loaded in the target, I have added the filter (Field AWORG = 'Concatenated value of Co Code and fiscal year') in the Access plan for it. Is that correct?

I am trying to replicate oracle views in hana through SLT
Scenario 1:
tables T2 and T3 with View T2_T3_view
If I follow this thread SLT view replication
It creates the view as a table in hana but does not populate it with any data.
Scenario 2 -
I have 2 oracle tables - T4 and T5. I have a view T4_T5_VIEW that joins the 2 tables.
I followed steps in a document I received to replicate the view syntax as well as the tables.
1) replicated both tables T4 and T5 - success
2) stopped replication on T4
table exists in hana with data but no replication
3) using LTRS, assigned the view T4_T5_VIEW to table T4
4) changed the performance option
5) restarted replication on T4
The view gets created as a table, but table T4 gets and error and does not replicate.
The view gets no data
What is the proper process for an oracle table?
I have a very complex view with 5 source tables I want to replicate.

Hi All,
I did the initial load for AUFK, the load was successful but the data got transferred to client 800 which doesn't exist in Target, as the source client was 800.
How can I make sure that the data is transferred to the desired client in the Target system?
How can I map the source and target clients?

I'm working on replicating tables from sybase ase. But there are 2 problems that I can't solve till now.
1. in my previous thread I found that if the table's name is lower case, SLT will not be able to replicate it.
Does anyone once face same issue? It's quite a problem because SAP system treat all letters as upper case, but the sybase system is case sensitive. Sybase system is our transaction system. It will be lots of work to change the tables' name to upper case.

I have a view V1 generated from table T1 and T2. Both the tables have primary key.
I raised the replication step-by-step. A table with the same name and structure as the view V1 is created in HANA.
But no data loaded.

i have added a custom field in SAP CRM system using AET. so it added a field in CRMD_ORDERADM_H table but it added in the middle, so after this field it has some other standard structures. But in HANA it added only as a last field.
Because of this mismatch it stores the values to wrong columns in HANA.

I did the replication for Central finance object COBK and it was successful.
But even after the replication the logging table is not getting cleared. This causes an issue because, when I create another controlling document the new entry is added to the logging table and SLT tries to replicate the complete logging table (Old + the new entry) and causing the duplicate key error again.
I have changed the Transfer behavior to Array Modify and it works, but I need to do it again and again manually.
I wanted to know:
1. Is there a way I can clear the logging table manually?
2. And is there a permanent to fix to have the settings as Array Modify?

Can someone explain or pin point what would be the ideal solution if someone wants to use HANA Enterprise on Cloud in regards to the SLT
replication system?
Our SLT systems are standalone, replicate around 250 -300 tables real-time, the TOP 10 tables are really big tables with average 2 billion records that constantly change in the source system. Heavy/critical replication.
Currently, I believe the majority customers that replicate a lot of data follow the source system, SLT and HANA on premise, but the SAP HANA Enterprise on Cloud is getting more mature as option, more and more customers wants now to evaluate that option as well.
The question that it is not clear to me yet, is where the SLT system ideally should seat in case we use HANA Enterprise on Cloud without losing the integrity, consistency and efficiency (speed) that our current replication with all system on premise offers?
Should I use source system and SLT on premise and HANA Enterprise on Cloud, OR would be better for replication purpose if my source system is on premise and my SLT and HANA Enterprise system are on Cloud together? Or is doesn’t matter at all? What would cause less impact on the replication stream compared of my all on premise scenario.

Hi experts,
My SLT was working well until my workmate changed the password of the user automatically created by the SLT configuration.
As we all know, each SLT configuration will create a use in HANA automatically. But we don't know the default password of it.
My workmate changed the password due to some policy standardization
But after changing the password, no tables could be replicated successfully.
If we start a table replication, the status will stay "Scheduled" all the time.
And what's more confusing is that the Running Transfer Jobs in Administration Data tab of the configuration turned to 0.
We have 3 configurations. we did the same thing and get the same result. so confusing!
So my questions:
1. Anyone once faced similar scenario? How to resolve above issue ? Do I need to restart the SLT server?
2. what's the default password of the user created automatically by SLT configuration?

we want to create an application that replicating the SAP Data Source to another 3rd Party Database. As we stumbled upon the technology that introduced in the SAP LT Replication Server, we really keen to try this. However, we can't find a documentation regarding this issues. Is there a possibility to use the SLT to replicate data from SAP and targeting into another DB-System (non-Hana) ?
The question comes up, because the interface for accessing other Non-SAP Source is basically already there (however it is intended to load the data), so theoritically we can use the same interface to transfer the delta data with event based triggered.
Does anyone have an experience on this case ? It would be nice, if you can suggest a better approaches.

Hello Experts, Im using a standalone SLT system for replications to HANA from SAP ECC. I have successfully created real time replications for MARA and KNA1 tables but when I do modification in MM02 (Material change), MARA table is getting updated but I cant see an update entry in the respective MARA log file (/1CADMC/00000924). Please advise.

Has anyone successfully connected SAP SLT directly to Hadoop or other big data services where the big data is the target? We have a scenario where our SAP OER will produce millions of records of which we wish to report against but see that the scale, ie number of records plus the data retention requirements will mean a typical SAP BW and or a SAP HANA will not be a viable architecture.
So is SLT a contender, excluding potential license discussions?
